DESIGN LIFE NOW, Triennial Exhibition, Cooper Hewitt Museum, NYC
Work done as a Project Manager/Designer for Matter Architectural Practice.
In their 2006 Triennial Exhibition, Design Life Now, the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum exhibited 87 designers, artists and innovators in a wide array of fields. The exhibition chronicled three years of experimental and cutting edge design, and the team of curators gently nodded to the inherent messiness of new ideas, of life, and within the design world. We responded with an exhibition design that both faded into the background with the use of mirrored cases and hidden fasteners, and also portrayed a raw authenticity with industrial mounts, exposed aluminum hardware, and visible electrical wiring.
